Yorktown: Yorktown Heights Engine Company #1 Carnival 

Where: Yorktown firehouse on Commerce Street

When: Through Sunday, June 30

Cost: Free

Description: The carnival runs until June 30. On Friday, the gates will be open from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Enjoy this family event filled with rides, games and plenty of food.

Somers: Independence Day Celebration

Where: Reis Park in Somers

When: Saturday, June 29

Cost: Free

Description:
There will be fireworks, Somers Lions BBQ, Wright Reis Homestead Open House, farm implement exhibit, all-star games, and more

Yorktown: Bayblade Tournament 

Where:Yorktown Vineyard Church, 2084 Crompond Road

Larchmont-Mamaroneck: Concert-Into the Light

Where: St. John’s Lutheran Church, 122 Fenimore Rd., Mamaroneck

When: Saturday, June 29, 7:30 p.m.

Cost: Free

Description: Angelica, a women’s chamber choir hailed for its “perfect blend” and “beautiful, transcendent sound,” directed by Marie Caruso, will present a  concert featuring works by Hildegard von Bingen, Josquin des Prez, selections from the Cantigas de Santa Maria and the Llibre Vermell de Montserrat. Also included in the program are modern works by Javier Busto, Maurice Duruflé, Ola Gjeilo, and Michelle Roueché. Joining Angelica will be guest artists Jerry Celestino, lute; Matthew Stauffer, cello; and Ed Pitaro, percussion.


New Rochelle: Songcatchers 2nd Annual Bingo for a Basket

Where: Blessed Sacrament Elementary School Auditorium, 24 Maple Ave., New Rochelle

When: Saturday, June 29 at 6 p.m.

Cost: $10

Description: Play BINGO, win prize baskets, reunite with friends, reminisce about Camp memories, and take a stroll down memory lane as our Youth Choir and Camp Staff perform songs and "Family Time" games from Camp. $10 admission includes a slice of pizza, a can of soda, and one BINGO card.  Join us for this wonderful evening—fun for the whole family! Pelham: Shake Your Soul Yoga Dance

Where: Prasanthi Studio: Family Yoga and Wellness, 136 Fifth Ave., Pelham
