On Tuesday, June 11, 2013, the Yorktown Leo Club held their annual Installment Dinner at the Sparkle Lake Club House on Granite Spring Road. At the dinner, the club presented a total of around $12,600 to local charities and organizations, including the Alliance for Safe Kids (ASK) and Support Connection. In addition, the Leos awarded their Citizen of the Year award to ASK Director Tricy Cushner and their Leo of the Year award to Daniela Grajeda. Last, the Leos inducted their new president, Alexa Friedman, and their new board members. Overall, the Installment Dinner was a great start to the Leos’ new presidential term.
