'Best In Service' Donates Cleaning Service to Teen Center

The Yorktown Teen Center has received a donation for cleaning services by 'Best in Service' Inc. of Mohegan Lake. 

"It's not easy keeping up with cleaning for a family of four," the teen center said in a statement. "Imagine cleaning after 30+ teens, mostly boys!"

The volunteer staff said they were excited and relieved when they learned about the donation. 

After attending a Yorktown Chamber of Commerce Networking meeting held at the Teen Center, Ilona Zabolotny was compelled to help out. She started Best In Service, Inc. in 1999 as a way to provide for her family after moving here from Brooklyn. She was a single parent and needed a flexible job. 

"Now you will have one less thing to worry about!" she said to Yorktown Teen Center board president Helena Rodriguez. "I'll take care of the cleaning."  

"It is exciting when other people can see our needs and fulfill them without us asking," Rodriguez said. "It gives me more energy to continue the work at the Teen Center."
