The produce selections vary depending upon what is available from Hilltop Hanover’s eight acres of farmed land. During the weekend of July 27-28, cucumbers, squash, leeks, onions, carrots, scallions, fennel, pepper, tomatoes, and other produce could be purchased at the farm stand. For those who preferred to pick some of their vegetables, onions, cucumbers, and flowers were available. The prices are comparable to area supermarkets, but the produce is picked within 24 hours of sale and is all organically grown.

Hilltop Hanover Farm is owned by Westchester County. However, it is presently operated by the Friends of Hilltop Hanover Farm and Environmental Center. The Farm offers workshops, a certificate program in farming through Westchester Community College, conducts educational experiences for school from Westchester County as well as New York City, In addition, there are 3.5 miles of  marked trails available for hiking. The Farm is open Tuesdays through Saturday from 10:00 to 4:00 PM.  Visit its website at www.hilltophanoverfarm.org for more information about programming or volunteer and internship opportunities.
