For the six weeks you will come to the Farm each week on either Tuesday from 2:00 to 7:00 or Wednesday, 10:00 to 12:00 to select your vegetables ($30 value each week). A selection of any of the following will be available (depending upon weather conditions): squash, beets, broccoli, onions, greens (lettuce, bok choy, chard, and kale), carrots, turnips, cauliflower, cabbage, celeriac, and herbs. In addition, fresh farm eggs (availability depends upon the HHF chickens), honey, jams, and other farm favorites will be displayed for purchase. Drop by the Farm office to sign up for the program or call 962-2368 for additional information.  Also, you can sign up to volunteer your time at this Yorktown historic location on Hanover Street.

Hilltop Hanover Farm, a Westchester County-owned facility which spans over 180 acres, is taking its show on the road!  Hilltop Hanover Farm will be represented at the “Hudson Hop and Harvest” on the Peekskill Riverfront Park from 2:00 to 9:00 PM on Saturday, October 5th.  The “Hop and Harvest” is a celebration of farm to table. In addition to a farmers’ market, craft beer and live music will highlight the day. Hilltop Hanover Farm will also be represented a few miles from home at the “Fifth Annual Yorktown Festival and Street Fair” on Sunday, October 13th from 11:00 to 5:00 PM. Over 250 street vendors will occupy Commerce Street and Veterans’ Road. Food, entertainment, and children’s activities will also be available.
