New use planned for vacant Route 202 building

A flooring showroom or a doggie day care facility are possible tenants for the vacant Salerno Dodge building on Route 202. Teatown Lake is proposing an additional parking lot. New Lake Osceola mixed use project moves forward.

1. Yorktown Farms, lot #15, Wetlands permit
A homeowner wants to remove brush and install a fence in a wetland buffer in order to make a safer and healthier environment for his children.
 
2. Grotto Holding (former Salerno Dodge on Route 202)
Plans were presented to convert the former auto dealership into a combination retail and office space. Possible tenants include a flooring showroom or a doggie day care facility.
 
3. Teatown Lake Reservation auxiliary parking lot
Plans were presented to create a 46 space seasonal parking lot across the street from the existing entrance.
 
4.Lake Osceola Square
Plans for the mixed used building are moving forward and may include tying nearby properties along East MKain Street into the sewer system. The future operation of the beach remains undecided. A traffic study will examine East Main Street issues.
