New Telephone Support Group for Women with Metastatic Breast Cancer

Support Connection, Inc., a not-for-profit organization specializing in free, confidential support services for people affected by breast and ovarian cancer, announces the launch of a new monthly support group for women with metastatic breast cancer. Beginning January 6, the group will be offered via toll-free national teleconference on the first Monday of the month at 8 pm (NY time.)

Attending a face-to-face support group can be challenging when living with advanced stage breast cancer. This new group offers the opportunity to connect with other women from the comfort of home. Speak with women across the country who are also living with breast cancer. Share information and experiences. Confidentially discuss concerns and gain support from others who understand.

The group is open to women nationwide living with recurrent, advanced stage or metastatic breast cancer. Participation is free, regardless of where you live. It will be led by a trained volunteer facilitator who is a breast cancer survivor.
