Yorktown Fifth-Grade Students Sign Pledge Not to Use Drugs

The Benjamin Franklin Elementary School students had their DARE graduation. The program is run by Yorktown Youth Officer Richard Finn.

Fifth-grade students at Benjamin Franklin Elementary School were recently presented by Senator Greg Ball with New York State Senate Proclamations for completing the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program (D.A.R.E.)

D.A.R.E teaches kids how to recognize and resist the direct and subtle pressures that influence them to experiment with alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, and other drugs. The Benjamin Franklin Elementary School program is run by Youth Officer Richard Finn.
