All tips and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Yorktown Community Help's food bank.

The Yorktown Congress of Teachers, the Yorktown Food Pantry and Traditions 118 Restaurant are once again partnering to combat hunger.

Yorktown Central School district teachers will be serving dinner at the restaurant on Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. today from 5 to 10 p.m. for "Tip a Teacher" night.

All tips and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Yorktown Food Pantry.

The food pantry, Community Help, was founded in the 1960s to serve the families of Yorktown after local churches and other civic organizations pooled their resources to serve those in need.

To make reservations call Traditions at (914) 248-7200. The restaurant is located at Route 118 - 11 Old Tomahawk Street in Granite Springs.
