Somers High School Senior Captures Football Games with Photos

Rebecca Bosley began taking photographs professionally when the Somers High School football team hired her to take pictures at the games.

Rebecca Bosley, a Somers High School senior, was 12 years old when she began creative photography, she writes on her Facebook page – Rebecca Bosle Photography.

But in 2010 she turned professional when the Somers High School football team hired her to take pictures of the team. She also photographs parties, proms and events, as well as head shots and personal photos.

"I continue to grow with each job that I take under my belt," Bosley wrote on her page. "I'm young and considered 'untrained,' but I've learned everything that I know about photography through experience."

She shoots with a Canon 7D, which she received as a gift in 2010 for her 15th birthday. Bosley shoots 100 perceny manually, adjusting the levels and settings after nearly every shot.

"[It's] something that took a lot of work and focus, and something that I am very proud of," she said.
