Five Will Vie for Three Somers School Board Seats
Current trustees Ifay Chang and Donna Rosenblum are running; while trustee Joanne Iannacchino will not be seeking re-election.
Five candidates have announced their intent to run for the Somers Central School Board of Education, according to District Clerk Nancy Corrado.
Current trustee Ifay Chang will be seeking another term.
Donna Rosenblum, who was appointed to the Somers school board in January after Anthony Cirieco resigned from his position to serve on the Somers Town Board, will be running for one of the open seats.

Joanne Iannacchino will not be seeking re-election.
Also running for the three open seats are Joseph Marra, Karen Frieri and Richard Wagner.

The board election and budget vote will be held on Tuesday, May 21 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the Somers Middle School gymnasium.
