Proof of Life After Death

Are psychic mediums real?

So for me a natural follow-up to my last blog..."Undiagnosed Human Rabies Deaths?" in which I briefly discussed the tragic circumstances of my father's death from encephalitis is this...Does your loved one's soul live on and can a psychic medium truly connect with your deceased loved one?

Short answer...YES!

When our beloved father, my mom's loving husband of 51 years, and adoring grandpa died unexpectedly of encephalitis all of our lives changed. I searched for comfort wanting to know for sure my dad still existed and was a part of all of our lives. This in turn led me to psychic mediums in search of proof. I attended psychic fairs, conferences, and had some private readings as well. What I learned is something I always knew in my heart...your soul lives on, love truly is eternal, and your deceased loved one is closer than you know!

What I also learned unfortunately is that there are plenty of fake "psychic mediums" out there pretending to connect with your loved ones. I for one am not easily fooled by the fishing and general statements and questions and answers of fake mediums. The biggest test...I have to be told something very specific to me by the medium that there is no way he could have known unless my father told him.

And so I tell you about the only legitimate medium I have ever encountered thus far...John Edward. His comments directed to me only as I stood there were spot on. He gave a lot of correct information about my dad such as family names and that his name has an ST sound...his name was Salvatore. And correct information about my dad having a problem with his brain. Impressive but I was not totally convinced. UNTIL....  He said my dad told him I just bought a new refrigerator.  Yes I had just bought a new refrigerator 2 weeks before! AND THEN ...John told my brother that my dad is telling him he has a Valerie Harper connection. My brother had just bought tickets to her Broadway show that same day! And let me not forget to mention that John saw a Pearl Harbor day connection...my birthday is December 7th.

Convinced yet?

Specifics John could not have known unless my father was there that day telling him. Specifics that show my beloved father is alive and well on another plane and is able to see what is going on in his loved ones everyday lives. John Edward is real. But what I've also learned is that you don't have to be John Edward to get a message from your deceased loved ones...there are many signs they can send your way to let you know they are well and watching after you. I've had quite a few of these unexplainable, miraculous signs myself from my dad as well as my Nana.

Have you had any signs from your deceased loved ones?

I will tell you more...until my next blog...love and peace to all.

Jon Edward's is Robin's religion. Stop trying to counter remarks which are direct hits. True faith doesn't behave in the manner Robin behaves, not even close. It doesn't require a blog, nor a visit to Jon Edward. And this has nothing to do with organized religion. Organized religion is responsible for much death. Jon Edward on the other hand uses death to make a buck.

You know something disconcerting about someone posting annonymously? What did J.E. tell you?
L Clay January 06, 2013 at 08:27 PM
ah, the unexplained huh Robin? Stuff just mysteriously is deleted. Only here, Robin. Guess cause you're so special. Can't wait for the tooth story. That's an oldie but a goodie. Get help. Professional help. You're embarrassing yourself.
Sherms, thanks for drawing attention to the complete disregard of logic and for drawing attention to Robin's responses and all the holes in this insanity. Please, spare yourself, no need to throw yourself down on the religious sword. Don't go down the religion rabbit hole. J.E. talks to Nana for Robin, has the Catholic church been able to pull of that parlor trick? I don't think so, J.E. has that power, he is firmly in first position. And isn't it mysterious Sherms, how John Edwards' initials are J.E., the first two letters of a certain.... savior. Coincidence? I don't think so.
Robin January 07, 2013 at 01:00 AM
Sherms, I like the idea of highlighting some comments and will ask if possible. Not sure about deleting, will think about.
Sherms January 07, 2013 at 03:00 AM
Robin, I'm glad you like the highlighting idea. That would be great, hope you decide to weed out the useless comments so there's less to weed through to get to the constructive information. Don't forget our screenplay )
tommy elkin January 07, 2013 at 03:25 AM
Robin, that would be great, Oct 23 & 27 had some very insightful opinions. Here's to hoping that you decide to weed out some of the useless comments. Blog on, and let's not forget about writing that screenplay )
Sherms January 07, 2013 at 04:24 AM
Robin, I saw a comment supposedly coming from me at 10:01 (notification by email) that I did not write. -- Sherms also commented on Proof of Life After Death. "Robin, I'm glad you like the highlighting idea. That would be great, hope you decide to weed out the useless comments so there's less to weed through to get to the constructive information. Don't forget our screenplay )" Then I saw one from tommy elkin, at 10:25, that;s a new name, but the re-post with a modification is a method used by our Alias-- tommy elkin also commented on Proof of Life After Death. "Robin, that would be great, Oct 23 & 27 had some very insightful opinions. Here's to hoping that you decide to weed out some of the useless comments. Blog on, and let's not forget about writing that screenplay )" -------- Not sure how that happened, hope it was just a system glitch. If you talk to Plamena; please ask her if two people can have the same handle on this blog. I flagged the bogus post. Regarding the asylum, I really didn't give it a thought (you know that), however, it makes a great ending for the teaser to the sequel where you write this blog - see, you are there visiting your grandmother when the patients overrun the asylum and are captured; you escape as the movie ends (Think similar to the beginning of Terminator 2). :):) Then again, there ARE such things as re-writes, rough drafts rarely survive :) -- Shouldn't joke, I am concerned about the false post. take care.
Sherms January 07, 2013 at 04:36 AM
Robin, of course I was joking about the asylum. ) However I don't remember writing that post. Could it be that there are posts which I have not written. I must go back and make sure
Sherms January 07, 2013 at 06:01 AM
Robin, Sorry about the problem. I replied to you and then Alias posted this using my name a few minutes later: Robin, of course I was joking about the asylum. ) However I don't remember writing that post. Could it be that there are posts which I have not written. I must go back and make sure. . It's a shame. I was getting a lot out of this blog, but it appears a challenge is being made for a battle that shouldn't need to be fought, let alone fought here. Take care
Sherms January 07, 2013 at 11:32 AM
Robin, I knew. I had a dream that this would happen. It's astonishing, but as I was putting on my slippers it came to me. It's a shame. I was getting a lot out of this blog, but it appears a challenge is being made for a battle that shouldn't need to be fought, let alone fought here. Take care
Sherms January 07, 2013 at 06:38 PM
Alias, the quality of your posts has risen since you started impersonating me. A common trait of very troubled people is to project their issue on to others (i.e., a controlling person complains that someone is being very controlling) Building things takes time and a lot of effort, destroying things generally takes almost no time and just a bit of effort. I am often accused of being too accepting, too open to alternative ideas; but I have been unable to understand how you get any benefit out of your actions. To disrupt a forum you are not required to attend, to be so "proud" of your opinions that you hide and are derisive, It appears you truly hate John Edward, though that may be just be a convenient object to focus on at this time - you may just be filled with anger and hate. Maybe you understand, maybe you don't. Your behavior just amplifies the need for people to hear that there is "good" in the world as well; that there is a "light" burning somewhere. There appears to be no shortage of bad things in the world; yet from my experience, when things truly are person-to-person commonly people are nice to each other. It is when things are hidden, when we depersonalize with anonimity that mean and evil actions such as what you are doing occur. While your behavior seems to have no constructive purpose, you do exhibit a high level of ability. It is sad that you choose to use it in this way. (Gee, and I didn't even need a dream to tell me that.) Peace
Sherms January 07, 2013 at 07:21 PM
Sherms, I was having perhaps the same problem you are having; not being able to make sense of it all. So I tried to find some sense. I was able to come up with something I can live with; and it was something that developed from linking a number of experiences together. This really is the wrong blog to go into it deeply. When things are person-to-person, as in hand-to-hand combat or on the streets of urban America or the country roads of rural America, from the beginning of time, people are nice to each other face to face. I have a tendency, well more than a tendency, to gravitate off topic and entertain myself with my own dreams of what is. The truth is this truly has saddened me, and then I ask myself why? For we are light Robin. It is when things are hidden that the darkness and evil occur. If only we would open our prison doors, let us not hide prisoners behind high walls and bars. Let us all be nice to one another face-to-face. I as you Robin, choose not to make my comments with anonimity. Sherms as you know is my birth name. It is my moniker, just as Cher is hers. Logic need not apply. While I did feel your behavior had no constructive purpose at first, now I'm thinking that this is an excellent wrinkle which I would never have considered for Robin and my screenplay. This is actually fun. BELIEF is acceptance w/o proof. ) Peace
Sherms January 07, 2013 at 07:33 PM
Robin, it has come time that I create a new account and shed this skin, so I can continue to "blog on." In a strange sense, I thank the circumstances that have inspired this action. I feel reborn, cleansed in an odd way. Nothing can stop me from my love of Robin and support of the light ) I will post soon and of course identify myself as the former "Sherms." ) Peace
Watching You January 07, 2013 at 07:45 PM
You're welcome Son. Your Dad, I fine. Don't worry about me, and I'm glad you enjoyed the show. Though I hate to see you rush like that, you were running late that night. Remember your blood pressure. All my love, Dad
Sherms January 07, 2013 at 09:10 PM
Alias (recently choosing to become "Sherms" too), I'm flattered that you chose me as a role model; it has improved the quality of your posts. You are impressive; but then you do know that -- and you do have some very good thoughts and perspectives. True, they are definitely different than mine, but that is the whole point of a blog - to share points of view and get people to re-evaluate their choices. Yes, you can shut things down fast, but it takes time to build, even more to build well. My guess is you have faced some very difficult experiences, but have you decided to join in with being the problem rather than trying to build a positive solution (It is easier to say "no" than to say "yes" and address the issues that arise.) To get back on "topic", for whatever Robin's reasons were to start this blog, it has created a forum to discuss a controversial topic. It has helped me gain additional understanding of my life (oddly enough, no instruction manual came with life). Her stated position provides a seed of hope (I don't believe she's started organized trips to attend John Edward events yet, hasn't set up with Paypal yet - see it's all a evil plan to create a paranormal empire). Really, IF GOD is all-powerful, goodness and love - He wouldn't have to save the world, He wouldn't have let it happen in the first place. So, if we believe we can use human logic to understand His purpose, then really, there has to be some other answer. Best of luck to you.
Sherms January 07, 2013 at 09:46 PM
To all, I apologize for seemingly shifting the focus of this blog, it was unintentional. What has transpired is all the more reason for blogs like this one. It is controversial, but then became targeted. What Robin presented cannot be proven in this life; the very terminology of a "spiritual world" defines it to not be of this physical world of our daily existence. So indisputable, 100% defensible "proof" is not possible -- but the looser definition of proof, which is to provide sufficient evidence to allow a person to believe (which is a personal choice) is. Voicing different opinions (on the topic) is a good thing, it gives people information to consider. Attacking the messenger strongly suggests the opposing opinion is weak and insubstantial, so there is no constuctive option available. Since many people prefer to avoid confrontation, they just say "no" and stop participating in the discussion. If Robin's evidence is insufficient, her position will not be accepted - personal attacks are inappropriate and unneccesary. She had a personal experience that was positive for her and she is sharing it. (Again, there must be a sinister motive there somewhere, right?) Some people have presented opposing opinions supported by valid rationale; doesn't make them either right or wrong, but they have a valid position and I know I appreciate them offering their view. Even Alias has valid views when he chooses to present them; though his attacks diminish him.
A Little Carlin January 07, 2013 at 09:49 PM
What this blog is in dire need of. A little Carlin. "Religion easily has the greatest bull____ story ever told. Think about it, religion has actually convinced people that there's an INVISIBLE MAN...LIVING IN THE SKY...who watches every thing you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten special things that he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish where he will send to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry for ever and ever 'til the end of time...but he loves you." I really tried to believe that, but I gotta tell you, the longer you live, the more you look around, the more you realize...something is F'D-UP. Something is WRONG here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is NOT good work. If this is the best god can do, I am NOT impressed. Results like these do not belong on the resume of a supreme being. This is the kind of shit you'd expect from an office temp with a bad attitude. And just between you and me, in any decently run universe, this guy would have been out on his all-powerful-ass a long time ago. " George Carlin
A Little Carlin January 07, 2013 at 09:51 PM
"I noticed that of all the prayers I used to offer to god, and all the prayers that I now offer to Joe Pesci, are being answer at about the same 50% rate. Half the time I get what I want. Half the time I don't. Same as god 50/50. Same as the four leaf clover, the horse shoe, the rabbit's foot, and the wishing well. Same as the mojo man. Same as the voodoo lady who tells your fortune by squeezing the goat's testicles. It's all the same; 50/50. So just pick your superstitions, sit back, make a wish and enjoy yourself. And for those of you that look to the Bible for it's literary qualities and moral lessons; I got a couple other stories I might like to recommend for you. You might enjoy The Three Little Pigs. That's a good one. It has a nice happy ending. Then there's Little Red Riding Hood. Although it does have that one x-rated part where the Big-Bad-Wolf actually eats the grandmother. Which I didn't care for, by the way. And finally, I've always drawn a great deal of moral comfort from Humpty Dumpty. The part I liked best: ...and all the king's horses, and all the king's men couldn't put Humpty together again. That's because there is no Humpty Dumpty, and there is no god. None. Not one. Never was. No god." George Carlin

Yes, "valid rationale" compared to J.E. knew I bought a fridge and I talk to my Nana. Doesn't make either of them right or wrong? Enjoy the Carlin.

So, if we believe we can use human logic to understand His purpose, then really, there has to be some other answer. What would you suggest we use in place of human logic? Goat logic? Or should we hand the job over to Jon Edward, and those that talk to their dead Nana and who's dead father knows they bought a new refrigerator. Human logic is it Sherms, it's all you got. And yours "Cher" is in much need of focus. P.S. it's not J.E.'s plan to create a paranormal empire, the paranormal empire has been created.
Sherms January 07, 2013 at 10:31 PM
You get what you want 50% of the time? You do have a connection!!!! Carlin was really great. How about, just for fun, I buid on what you wrote, put a little different spin on it. The first word you wrote was "Religion" - so how about: Look at what happens when you put a marketing firm in charge, One impossible claim after another! --Well, as they say, any publicity is good publicity. I'll set them straight once they get here - what religion was SUPPOSED to do was help them make the trip. The good stuff is here, not there. Can't MAKE them do anything down there, i mean, what would be the point? Give them situations and let them choose what to do, if I make everything easy then they don't learn. How can I give them real power if they don't learn how to handle it? That was just for fun, a different view. -- and. like in "Hunger Games", sometimes a "sponsor" chooses of help out a little. I would expect all the right answers have been made available to use, but they are hard to find with all the wrong answers available as well. I could choose to believe that this was all there is, that I should kick ass and take all I can and be happy with that for the few years I have; but that seems to be such a waste. People can be so much more, and I think they SHOULD be more. Doesn't make sense to have a conscience and an understanding of what is right or wrong if we aren't to use them. But again, Carlin was great!
Sherms January 07, 2013 at 11:21 PM
Hi Alias, I like the Carlin. Of course we use human logic, that's all we have. (You aren't able to talk to goats, are you?) The paranormal empire was referenced as maybe being Robin's goal. Another thing you mentioned. handing over the task of understanding to JE or Robin. -- NOBODY is trying to take those decisions from you, but then, it is also not right for you to decide to take the decision away from others. ( holding an election where you have chased off all the other candidates is not really an election). A main aspect of MY position is that it is a personal decision everyone should make for themselves; and that they should have access to any and all information available. The discussions are supposed to offer different viewpoints and help clarify the information provided. Personally, I have gotten a lot of information from this blog. I did not like the way Robin was being attacked for sharing her beliefs, so I tended to support her position. The nastiness also discouraged others from sharing their experiences and opinions. Honestly, I am pretty sure you understand where I am coming from here. -- and you make a much more pursuasive presentation of your views when you are not demeaning others. Some people are happy facing life alone, others appreciate help at times. Sharing views provides information, just as a book does, only in a different way - and you can put down the book or leave the discussion at any time. Its finding the info that is hard.
Rocky & Bullwinkle January 08, 2013 at 02:27 AM
'Finding the information', on Patch? Seriously? Locating information can be made easier and or harder depending upon where one looks. Say, for instance I'm a squirrel (have to check with JE on whether this is true in a past life) If I'm a squirrel, finding an acorn will be much harder if I'm looking, say, in my grandmothers slipper or Valerie Harper's dressing room, or in a new refrigerator at Sears. If however, I'm looking say, beneath an oak tree in the woods. This would much more profitable and so much less stressful. Paying someone to tell me, "this used to be your acorn, but I'm the only one who can contact it for you, because I have super powers" Tends to leave must squirrels with quite an appetite, not to mention lighter in the wallet. Re Help: Help (see information above) is received through friends, family (living that is), p.h.d.'s, and locating real information and actual, edible acorns, and for myself, through the comfort of real faith, real faith which doesn't require constant reassurance. I don't turn to con men / religions, nor blogs for my meals. Peace ) P.S. - you'll starve to death out here. But I get it, you're not looking to eat, just justify your existence and feel less lonely.
Sherms January 08, 2013 at 04:24 AM
Alias, it is actually fun to discuss things with you (thanx for backing off on the personal attacks). Are you one of the people who believe you can't put something on the internet if it isn't true? Yeah, I did start slowing down with the advent of smartphones; I find I prefer to talk to people instead of looking at a screen. Wondering how many PhD's you have actually met and got to know. I have worked with probably 50-70 and talked with maybe another 100- 200. About 25% or so really are impressive and deserve every bit of respect they get. For about 30%, the PhD IS actually p.h.d. and means piled higher & deeper and the crap drops from them even as they walk. The rest fall somewhere in between. In an unfamiliar place, you may be able to get on your smartphone, call up the GPS app, and find the location of the restaurant you were looking for (all this by doing things yourself using the wonders of recent technology); or you can ask the local sitting at the bustop and he can point and say, down the street 2 blocks on your right, but if you wan't a really good meal, turn right at the next block and Nana's Cafe is halfway down on your left. - Maybe you try the cafe and have the best meal you have ever eaten. You can be pretty certain of mediocre, or be optomistic and you might get fantastic (yes, it could be a dump, but I have NEVER had a bad meal based on a local's recommendation). We ALL get it, JE is a fraud. But trust me, I haven't starved a day in my life.
Robin January 08, 2013 at 01:01 PM
Dear Patch Readers, I just want to thank all who were involved with this blog by either participating in the discussion or simply just being open enough to read it. I truly appreciate it . Unfortunately, I have been experiencing problems on this site and now it seems another. I don't know if they are connected but it is troubling enough for me to decide to move on from my blogging days. There's plenty of other trouble out there for me to get myself into : ) I hope the discussion continues, kindly of course, in my absence. And Sherms, a special thank you for all that you have attempted to do ...I wish you the best on your journey, and hope you know how much your presence has meant here. I wish all of you peace, love, happiness, hope, and of course...light.
Thanks For The Memories January 08, 2013 at 01:29 PM
Robin, say it ain't so. Have you run this by John Edward and Nana? Let's not make any rash decisions without consulting them, that would make no sense at all. i know that I for one will be sending you telepathic messages of love, light, peace, happiness, hope, courage, joy, enlightenment, magic, and lots and lots of hugs and of course, so much light, the most magical John Edward light provided by Dad and Nana. From all of us Robin, from Valerie Harper, all the butterflies in the woods, every discarded slipper and refrigerator everywhere, we thank you. Thank you for the most outrageous blog title and for attempting to defend and present that title as truth. And thank you providing as the evidence for "Proof Of LIfe After Death", John Edward. It doesn't get much better than that, thank you for all the laughter and surrealism. We were lucky to have been able to be a part of it, and though there are some tears certain to be shed today, we know that we will all be reconnected in the big Patch blog in the sky. And that all those we leave behind, we be able to contact us through John Edward or his offspring, if any women is crazy enough to procreate with him. And if not, if John elects to adopt, I know he'll figure a way to transmit his special, special gifts, to him or her. So that we can all be in touch with those we leave on this earth. To let them know, we know, they bought a new refrigerator. Information like this is priceless. Thank you Robin, for sharing.

IMPORTANT! This blog ....all my blogs...had the comments sections closed, as per my request, months ago due to safety concerns. It seems, with the new formatting of this site, the comments sections have been mistakenly reopened. Also, most of the original 500 + comments are mistakenly no longer showing. And the few comments that actually do show now are a confusing mess. There are other problems as well. I will try to have this all straightened out.
Aidan May 26, 2013 at 01:46 PM
Good luck. The site's a mess.
