Younger Students Gain Career Expertise at Tech After Hours

“I’ve always loved to bake, but I never knew how to bake a pastry crust from scratch!” “I built a robot that actually obeys my commands.” “I designed and sewed my own dress!”

Those are the kind of things middle school students are saying about the Tech After Hours program, where they get to explore a career or learn more about a favorite hobby.

The Tech Center at Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES is offering Tech After Hours this spring to students ages 12 and up. The program was “so successful in the fall,” according to The Tech Center’s Gerry Battista, that it is being offered again.
