New York State Senator Greg Ball (R, C -- Patterson) endorsed last month the two Yorktown town board candidates, . Bianco, a registered Conservative has been a member of the town board since 1996 and Paganelli is the owner of the Traveler's Rest restaurant.
"I have known Councilman Nick Bianco since I began running for office," Ball said in a statement. "He is fiercely independent and hyper intelligent. He represents his constituencies well and has earned my complete respect."
Ball said he is endorsing the two men because of their experience and "independence." Westchester County is one of the highest taxed counties in the country, and Ball said he thinks the candidates are fiscally conservative.
"Indeed, in a county that has seen taxes skyrocket beyond belief, Yorktown must seek to be a refuge for seniors, working families, small business owners and beleaguered taxpayers," he said. "It is both critical and imperative that voters elect a team of fiscally conservative representatives to the town board. We can talk about national politics until the cows come home, but the greatest impact a voter can have is at the local level."
