A 43-year-old Yorktown woman is due in Yorktown Town Court later this month to answer a criminal charge accusing her of stealing an eye shadow, valued at $9.09, from Taconic Pharmacy, police said.
Police received a call about the theft on Nov. 25 and revealed the woman had stolen the eye shadow on Nov. 22 at 5:14 p.m. before leaving the scene.
The woman voluntarily appeared at police headquarters on Nov. 26. She was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor.
She was released and scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Dec. 19.
