A 23-year-old Yorktown Heights woman, who was stopped for failing to dim her headlights, faces a drunken driving charge, state police said.
Jana N. Stedman was stopped on Route 6 in the town of Yorktown for failing to dim headlights as well as lane violations on Feb. 23 around 5 a.m., police said. Investigation revealed the woman was intoxicated and had a blood alcohol level of .15 percent.
A passenger in her vehicle, 26-year-old Nelson E. Quinones, of Mahopac, was also arrested for being in possession of Adderall, for which he did not have a prescription, police said.
Quinones was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Both Stedman and Quinone were scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on March 12.
