A 35-year-old Yorktown man was charged with theft twice on Tuesday in connection with two separate incidents, police said.
The man was arrested at his home on Munson Place on Jan. 7 at around 9:40 a.m. and charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. He and his accomplice – a 40-year-old Peekskill man – are accused of stealing a leaf blower from the back of a landscaping truck on Oct. 21.
Both men were processed and released without bail. The Yorktown man was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Feb. 13 and the Peekskill man was scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 11.
The Yorktown man was then charged with another misdemeanor petty larceny charge on Tuesday at 12:54 p.m.
The charge stems from a Nov. 8 incident when he stolen a $499.99 television from Sears, police said. He was again released without bail and scheduled to answer the second theft charge on Feb. 13.
