State Police are looking to speak with anyone who witnessed an accident on the Taconic State Parkway early Monday. It occurred in Putnam Valley and left a 48-year-old Yorktown Heights man with head trauma.
Troopers from the Stormville barracks responded to the single-vehicle crash at about 2:10 a.m.
Investigation revealed that the man had been headed south when his vehicle left the roadway "on the west shoulder and subsequently struck multiple trees." He was ejected from the car.
First responders transported the man to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla.
Police ask anyone who witnessed the accident to contact them at 845-677-7300.
