Somers Police: Brewster Man Charged with DWI in Lewisboro

A 47-year-old Brewster man faces a drunk driving charge in the town of Lewisboro, New York State Police troopers at the Somers barracks said. 

Eddie Arenas was stopped on Interstate 684 in Lewisboro on Sunday, Nov. 11 at about 3:20 a.m. for speeding, police said. He was doing 81 mph in a 65-mph zone, police said. 

Arenas had a blood alcohol level of .17 percent, police said. He was charged with DWI and scheduled to appear at the Lewisboro Town Court on Dec. 10

First of all, I don't understand why teachers are paying for anything out of pocket when the supply…Read More lists that parents receive at the end of the summer are as long as their arms. Secondly, SOCIETY lets the kids down?!?!? I think the school taxes in Yorktown should be sufficient so that the teachers don't have to pay any out-of-pocket expenses. SOCIETY does not let the kids down, it is those who are in control of the school tax monies who let the kids down. Perhaps the administrators should take salary cuts, or maybe we should even eliminate some of those administrative positions. No teacher should have to pay for supplies out of pocket.
