A 24-year-old Somers man, who was stopped for speeding on I-684, is facing a drunken driving charge, state police said.
Police said the man was traveling at 88 mph in a 65-mph zone on I-684 in the town of Bedford on Sept. 27 at about 1:35 a.m. Investigation revealed the Somers man was driving while intoxicated and had a blood alcohol level of 0.12 percent.
He was scheduled to appear in Bedford Town Court on Oct. 10.
