Police: Man, 19, Steals iPhone from Teen

Brandon G. Faul was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. He was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Feb. 14.

A 19-year-old Lake Peekskill man has been charged with a felony for stealing an iPhone from another teen, Yorktown police said.

Brandon G. Faul was arrested on Feb. 12 and charged with a fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony. 

Police were dispatched to the Jefferson Valley Mall where Faul had stolen an iPhone from a 16-year-old Mahopac resident. 

Faul was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. He was scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Feb. 14.

Sad to hear of this sort of crime happening here in Yorktown. I know it's not a good idea to walk around the streets of NYC with your phone out, but most people would expect to be able to use it in the open at the JV Mall!
