A woman described as being in her 20s was rushed to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla this morning after she was allegedly pushed onto the tracks of the White Plains Metro-North Station and hit by a train.

The incident happened shortly after 11 a.m. when a man pushed the woman on the tracks as she was standing on the platform, according to eyewitnesses. She was then struck by a train headed north, according to officials.
