Man Breaks into Yorktown Storage Facility, Steals Units' Contents

A 29-year-old Bronx man is facing a felony charge in Yorktown after breaking into a storage facility and stealing a number of items, police said.

Following an investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Daniel Vargas by the Yorktown Town Court and he was arrested on Nov. 7.

He was charged with third-degree burglary, a felony.

Employees at Cube Smart, located on Crompond Road in Yorktown, alerted police of the burglary on Sept. 22. Police investigation revealed several of the storage units at the facility had been broken into and the contents were removed.
