ANNOUNCING DEMOCRATS FOR GRACE

ANNOUNCING DEMOCRATS FOR GRACE

Because many Democrats in Yorktown are horrified by the decision by the Yorktown Democratic Committee to nominate Nick Bianco, a Conservative, to run for Supervisor, we have formed a group of good Democrats who will be working to support Supervisor Michael Grace and to see that he is re-elected. We are known as Democrats for Grace.

We are appalled that our party would be so desperate as to advance the name of Nick Bianco, aka "Dr. No," at a time when Yorktown's current Supervisor has just begun to correct the damage done by Bianco over his 16 year tenure as councilman. Obviously the Committee is desperate and wants to get a majority on the Board at any cost.

Grace has accomplished more in a year and a half than Bianco did over his long, long tenure on the board. The difference is that Grace has been proactive and progressive, while Bianco has based his platform on negativity and obstructionism. His classic response to any new idea is "nobody told me anything about it."

It is Bianco who has sent all the good business opportunities that would have lowered our town's tax base to our neighbor Cortlandt, which now has a much healthier economy than we do. Bianco's campaign slogan has been to "take back Yorktown" and we agree that he would take it back ... WAY back to the 19th century.

I invite all Democrats who feel the same way I do to please write me at Dems4Grace@gmail.com and join our group. We have a big job to do in saving Yorktown from economic disaster.

Sincerely,

Ilene McGannon
