From the Yorktown Funeral Home: Mary-Ann Benedetto, of Mohegan Lake, passed away on Nov. 14. She was 69.
She was born in New York City on July 13, 1944 to Edward and Mary Hovan. Benedetto was retired from Riverdale Nursing Home after 40 years as a Supervising Registered Nurse. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling with friends, her trips to Atlantic City, and the family’s traditional summer vacations at the Jersey Shore.
Benedetto is survived by her daughters; Beth-Ann Benedetto (Jeff) Wunderlich, Melissa Benedetto Rodriguez, Michelle Benedetto (Robert) Smith, and son Vincent E. Benedetto.
She is also survived by her loving grandchildren; Nicole, Samantha Michelle, Sammi Jo, Edward, Kacie, Anthony, Michael, Bethany, Isabella, and Vincent, sister-in-laws; Mary Staffu, Gina Benedetto, Pat Benedetto, and Janet Benedetto, and her brother-in-laws; Joseph Benedetto and William Benedetto, along with many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Vinny. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Shrub Oak.
