Mary Jane Cox of Croton-on-Hudson passed away on Aug. 16, 2013. She was 84.
Cox was born on May 4, 1929 in Rochester to Francis and Frances Monk. She was married on Sept. 3, 1949 to the late Christopher Cox. The woman worked for 28 years at the Country House Retirement Home in Yorktown.
She is survived by her two daughters Susan Wallace Grnuer( Tom), Carolyn Cox (Carmine Guiliani), two sons Christopher Cox(Sandy) and Stephen Cox, and a sister Jan Huether. Cox is also survived by three grandchildren Stephen, Dan, Eric, and two great grandchildren Thomas and David.
She leaves behind her “best friend” – her dog Gia. Predeceased by a daughter Joan, sister Sue and two brothers Bud and Al.
In lieu of flowers donations to the St. Jude’s Research Hospital or an animal Charity would be appreciated.
