From the Yorktown Funeral Home: Luis Marques of Cortlandt Manor passed away on Nov. 27, 2012. He was 48.
Marques was born on Nov. 15, 1964 in Portugal to Adelino and Georgette Luis. Luis married Donna Assante on May 5, 1990 in Yonkers. He is survived by his wife Donna, daughter Melissa and son Stephen; as well as his parents, two brothers Antonio Luis and Carlos Luis, two sisters Fernanda Santinho and Maria Roman.
Marques worked for Gate of Heaven Cemetery for 26 years.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, Nov. 29 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, Nov. 30 at 10 a.m. at St. Columbanus Church. Interment to follow at Rosehill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers donations to Rosary Hill Nursing in Hawthorne would be appreciated.
