YMCA Annual Halloween Costume Parade

The Community YMCA of Northern Westchester, will hold its 17th Annual Halloween Costume Parade on Sunday, October 27th Somers. 

Registration and line up for the parade starts at 12:00, at the Towne Centre at Somers. The Parade will start at 12:30. Children and adults from all Northern Westchester communities are welcome to participate in this FREE, fun, family event, which is one of the largest Halloween events in Northern Westchester. After the parade, there will be FREE crafts, games and prizes for best costumes. Coldwell Banker of Somers, NY will provide face painting and goody bags for the children.


Maire Brosnan Katavolos, Executive Director says “For 17 years the YMCA has proudly sponsored this family event,which has become one of highlights of the year for area residents. It is a wonderful opportunity for children to show off their costumes and have good times with their friends.  It is fun and safe family event, full of good times and community spirit.”  For information on the event and volunteer opportunities, call (914) 276-2398.
