The Random Farms Kids' Theater will present "Legally Blonde" at The Tarrytown Music Hall, Jan. 26 through Feb. 3, 2013.

"Legally Blonde," originally a blockbuster movie starring Reese Witherspoon, became a Broadway hit in 2007 after MTV aired a reality show competition seeking a new star to play Elle Woods, a Malibu sorority girl who follows her ex-boyfriend to Harvard Law School. The show was nominated for seven Tony Awards in 2008 and is currently running in successful touring productions around the globe.

More than 130 young people from the Random Farms Kids' Theater will take to the stage in four different casts that bring this smart, funny and energetic musical to life, while exploring themes of love, friendship, and achieving one's dreams.

"Legally Blonde is a singing, dancing, hairstyling, jump-roping, cheerleading, crime-stopping extravaganza.  Our performances feature amazing performers who have been working tirelessly to bring you this exciting, high-energy Broadway musical," said director Alexis Grausz of the Random Farms Kids' Theater.

First of all, I don't understand why teachers are paying for anything out of pocket when the supplyRead More lists that parents receive at the end of the summer are as long as their arms. Secondly, SOCIETY lets the kids down?!?!? I think the school taxes in Yorktown should be sufficient so that the teachers don't have to pay any out-of-pocket expenses. SOCIETY does not let the kids down, it is those who are in control of the school tax monies who let the kids down. Perhaps the administrators should take salary cuts, or maybe we should even eliminate some of those administrative positions. No teacher should have to pay for supplies out of pocket.
