Great Pumpkin Costume Parade and Family Dance

Join us for Mohegan Lake's first ever Great Pumpkin Costume Parade and Family Harvest Dance. The parade steps off from George Washington Elementary School at 3:00 and proceeds on West/Clover/Lakeland Streets to St. Mary's Church and will include antique Fire Trucks from the Mohegan Lake Fire Dept. and the Auxiliary Police of Yorktown. The Parade is followed by a family Harvest Dance played by Henry and Betsy Chapin, and a Pie Baking contest judged by Laurie Aielo of Dream Cakes Bakery. Snacks, drinks and pumpkins will be for sale and a free good time will be available for all!

Everyone is invited to attend in costume. Those wishing to enter the Apple or Pumpkin Pie Baking Contest are asked to drop pies off at St. Mary's by 2:30.

Parking for the event will be at George Washington School.
