Yorktown PBA to Collect Items for Hurricane Sandy Victims

Members of the Police Benevolent Association are holding the drive on Saturday, Nov. 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the KMart parking lot in Yorktown.

Members of the Yorktown Police Benevolent Association (PBA) will be collecting a variety of items to donate to Hurricane Sandy victims in Brooklyn.

The drive will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the KMart parking lot in Yorktown. Items being collected are water, non-perishable food, batteries, clean up supplies, blankets, baby formula and diapers. 

Two companies that are donating a truck to transport the donations as well as $1,000 worth of supplies are KD Industries and Brookfield Resource Management.
