Golf Outing to Benefit Support Connection's Cancer Support Services

The seventh annual golf outing, sponsored by Club Fit, will take place on July 16 at the Salem Golf Club.

Golf enthusiasts can gather to have fun on July 16 at the Salem Golf Club and raise money for a good cause at the same time. Proceeds will benefit 's cancer support services.

The seventh annual golf outing, sponsored by , will start off with registration, followed by lunch and shotgun scramble. It will end with cocktails, dinner, awards ceremony and prizes. The Hole in One prize is a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. 

The cost to participate in the golf outing is $215 per person. The cost includes golf reservations, green fees, caddie fees, golf cart, deluxe luncheon, cocktail hour and dinner reception.

If you'd like to attend the cocktail hour and dinner reception only, the cost is $75. 

The tournament is set up in a shotgun scramble format: All foursomes begin at the same time. Each player in a foursome hits a shot, then proceeds to the location of the best shot and hits from there.

This year's honoree is Raymond Kolkmann, Sr., president of , Inc. He will receive the Spirit of Giving Award for his years of dedication to Support Connection and the community. 

Support Connection, a not-for-profit organization, is dedicated to providing emotional, social, and educational support services to women, their families and friends affected by breast and ovarian cancer. It was founded in 1996 and is based in Yorktown Heights.
