A 23-year-old Cortlandt Manor man, who was previously convicted of driving drunk in 2008, is facing a felony drunk driving charge, Yorktown police said.
Yorktown police were conducting a DWI check point in the area of Route 6 and the Taconic State Parkway on Nov. 24 at about 2 a.m. when they stopped David L. Herbin's vehicle.
Police said Herbin was drunk, unlicensed and had a blood alcohol level of more than .08 percent.
Herbin was charged with driving while intoxicated, a felony; as well as unlicensed operation, a violation. He had a prior DWI conviction in 2008, police said.
Herbin was released to a friend on a $250 cash bail. He was scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 3, 2013.
