Photos of Jefferson Valley Mall Expansion and Renovation Plan

Yorktown town board members unanimously approved last month the site plan for the 20,000-square foot expansion and renovation plan at the Jefferson Valley Mall.

Detailed plans and pictures of the plan are available on the town's website here.

The physical additions total 31,992 square feet, however the increase in gross leasable area of the mall will be 20,000 square feet. That's because, officials will also be renovating the former theater space into new retail and restaurant space as well as modifying the food court area to accommodate a new mall entrance on the Route 6 side.

The additions will create new entrances on the Route 6 and Lee Boulevard sides of the mall. In addition to the building renovations, plazas will be added to the redesigned entrances, the parking lot will be regraded to comply with current handicapped parking regulations, more trees will be planted in the parking lot, and the berm along Route 6 will be relandscaped.
