Yorktown Boy Donates Books to Children's Hospital

Matthew Frogel donates more than 70 books that will be enjoyed by patients and their families in the hospital's Family Resource Center.

A 9-year-old philanthropist from Yorktown, who was inspired to help other children, has recently generously donated more than 70 books to the Blythedale Children’s Hospital in Valhalla.

Matthew Frogel donated books that include titles for toddlers through teens and will be enjoyed by patients and their families in the hospital's Family Resource Center.

"I thought about the kids who maybe had never been to a hospital before and I wanted to help them not be scared," Matthew said.
