The town of Yorktown offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28. The solid waste collection has changed as follows:
There be no trash or recycling collections on Thursday, Nov. 28.
As a result, "Monday and Thursday’s" kitchen refuse will be picked up on Monday, Nov. 25 and Wednesday, Nov. 27. The "Tuesday and Friday’s" collections will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 29.
Sections 2 and 3 will have their recycling picked up on Wednesday, Nov. 27

The collection of Leaf Bags by the Refuse and Recycling Department will be
suspended during Thanksgiving week (Nov. 25 through Nov. 29). Collection will resume on Monday, Dec. 2 and last until Dec. 12.
