Several areas in Yorktown, including Town Hall, Commerce Street, Baldwin Place and the Patriot Garden, were beautified on Saturday by about 60 volunteers from The Mormon Helping Hands program.

The program brings together members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and government officials to support and improve their local communities.

The adult and children volunteers rolled up their sleeves on Saturday and donated their time and efforts to help beautify several areas throughout town.
