Amawalk Water Treatment Facility Shut Down, Temporary Fluoride Suspension

From the town of Yorktown: 

The Northern Westchester Joint Water Works (NWJWW) will shut down the Amawalk Treatment Facility for on-going facility improvements on or about Sept. 24. While the facility is off-line, the Catskill Treatment Plant will be used to provide Yorktown's drinking water. 

During this time, fluoridation of Yorktown's water will be suspended until further notice.

This notice only affects residents of the towns of Yorktown and Somers.
