Somers Cupcake War Winner; Absentee Ballots and Applications

1) Congratulations to the winner of Somers Education Foundation's Cupcake War, which was held over the weekend. The winner was the team from Primrose School.

2) New York State has signed on with a majority of other states to implement the Common Core Curriculum in an effort to ensure our students are “college and career ready” through what is considered a much more rigorous curriculum. 3) The Westchester County Board of Elections will hold extended office hours until 8 p.m. tonight for those needing to obtain Absentee Ballots and Applications.
