At the same time, police were investigating an Oct. 21 burglary on Valleyview Street, where the homeowner reported that $2,500 worth of electronics had been taken. Detectives had developed a description of the subjects and identified Jackson and Gonzalez as potential suspects in that case, Lt. Kevin Soravilla said.

When police responded to the defendants' home and saw several of the electronic items that had been stolen in "plain view within the residence," the two women were arrested.
