Wig 'n' Whiskers Presents: Our Town

Lakeland High School’s resident drama club, Wig ‘n’ Whiskers, is proud to present their fall show, Our Town by Thornton Wilder. This thought-provoking play, written by one of the greatest writers in American literature, is sure to leave the audience with a renewed sense of humanity and humility. Our Town follows the lives of two families as they watch their children grow up, marry, and eventually die. It is a touching and poignant story of love, heartbreak, and living a small town life in the 1900s. Darrin Grimm directs his stellar cast through three acts, while Jim DelVecchio makes use of the minimalistic set design Wilder envisioned. Wig ‘n’ Whiskers hopes that you will join them in celebrating the 75th anniversary of this Pulitzer winning play.
