Teleman you have no idea what you are talking about. He is from Peekskill and has lived in the area…Read More his whole life. What does that have to do with anything anyway?

Just how many times did YOU violate this rule when you were supervisor? [Speakers were limited to…Read More three minutes — and were timed. Typically, they were allowed to finish a sentence when the buzzer sounded, but not much more. If they had more to say, they waited until the second Courtesy at the end of the meeting.]

I thank Mrs. Siegel for her reporting on town meetings. Her reports include many business items…Read More that the news media do not cover. This is a great service for the people of Yorktown.

Bernard has a history of being "let go" by numerous employers. When he was fired for…Read More stealing DiBartolo and the former committee chair got him a job with EnviroStar. He was also fired by DiBartolo's brother. Bernard accused DiBartolo of repairing his buddy's equipment on town time using town employees but who delivered that equipment to the town garage? Bernard did! He worked for Eric's buddy Muldoon. Tilcon let him go because he refused to take direction from a state inspector. DGC just terminated him too. Bernard ran a smear campaign against Eric last election, making all sorts of accusations, but he is guilty of just as many of those accusations. He's an arrogant, vengeful, spiteful liar who thinks the rules don't apply to him. Not just DiBartolo's cronie, he's his twin! This is GOP's idea of best candidate?

"kind of people"? "Undesirable"? "People like us"? Wow, I did not know…Read More we were holding Klan meetings in Yorktown. Maybe not Klan, as Hitler referred to anyone he wanted to send to the death camps as undesirable. I am not a fan of Nick's, but I hope he does not subscribe to your brand of supremacy.

nick bianco gets it. myself and my bud's see he's one of us. salt the earth hard working guy who…Read More fought his way to the top and doesnt want this town to become those towns that get overrun by big biz and troublemakers they attract from other towns. like it sez at his web sight -an urban jumble of high dencity housing, higher crime, public assistance costs-- ok we all know what he means and cant really say because of all that political incorrect crap. and we all know the kind of people a costco pulls. talk about stinkin' up the joint. you go get 'em, nick. take no prisoners & keep out the undesirable losers and all, like you say. other wise, yorktown turns it into another inner city. no way, we say. people like us we own yorktown. lets keep it this way. btw, confused, you really are. wake up or leave town altogether, and don't let the door hit you on the way.

I am not really sure how Nick stands on business and development. A friend of mine opened a small…Read More restaurant/catering business in Yorktown and had to fight for two years to get opened until Supervisor Grace took office and with his pro-business attitude. Now this is not a large corporation, but rather a Yorktown HS graduate who stayed with his roots and lives in the community he grew up in with his wife, a Yorktown kindergarten teacher, and his daughter. He took over closed spaces - not developing open space. It ran him $200,000 over his start up budget while jumping thru the hoops that the town board at that time, which Nick was a senior member of, was putting him thru. Here is a guy trying to keep his family grounded in the community he grew up in, and in Nick's press conference he was basically labeled as a "Character and Looser", along with all of the other business people trying to do right in Yorktown, by Nick in his statement about backroom deals in "GraceLand". As for his support of being green and not developing anything, I can attest that that is his stand. I have first hand knowledge from when my wife and I wanted to build a house on two lots her father had bought in the 70's off of Artis Road in Mohegan Lake. The conservation board insisted that the property was wetlands in it's entirety even though three reports from town sanctioned, independent contract wetlands inspectors disagreed. Nick claimed to support us and told my mother-in-law, who at that time contributed to Nick's campaigns, that he was going to help. The only thing he did not tell us was that the "help" he was giving was for the property to remain in Wetlands Status since he was one of the people that originally declared it wetlands. I personally wish he would have been honest with me from the get go before I had to incur over $10,000 in fees. I may have maintained the respect I held for him until that point. For years Open Space has not been maintained. I remember walking around the winery before all of the restoration started and the property around it that was the issue of debate. The property was a catch for all types of litter and was overgrown. You could not even take a nature walk into it. To me this seems like a waste of land. I enjoy walking on the North County Trail, which to me seems like a much better use of "Open Space" And as for the comment by Jim McKean about Nick saying that Supervisor Grace "blocked" it, you should look into things before you put it in print. If you go thru the minutes of the Board meetings and work sessions, no legislation was ever presented to be blocked. Just another case of Nick telling a person what he wants to hear rather than speaking the truth.

This says it all .YES: 757 No: 306 . I don't ever want to hear anyone complain about their school…Read More taxes!!! This was the worst voter turnout that I can ever remember. This only emboldens those on the school board to spend more. When was the last time you guys out there got a raise? We want 0% raises. That is what the peasants are getting.

I got laid off in October after 18 years with the same company and giving my life to this company. I…Read More was told when I was younger by my parents that going to College and entering the corporate world was the best way to live comfortably for years to come. Boy did I miss the boat. I should have become a teacher. 100K a year, Summers off, every holiday off, and I would only have to work 180 days a year. Not to mention GUARANTEED raises. What a JOKE!!!!!!! And than I get a email from my child's teacher that I have to work with them at home because they don't have enough time in school to cover all the material. How about we actually work a 8 hour day for once and not take what seems like a day off every other week. LOL
