I got laid off in October after 18 years with the same company and giving my life to this company. I…Read More was told when I was younger by my parents that going to College and entering the corporate world was the best way to live comfortably for years to come. Boy did I miss the boat. I should have become a teacher. 100K a year, Summers off, every holiday off, and I would only have to work 180 days a year. Not to mention GUARANTEED raises. What a JOKE!!!!!!! And than I get a email from my child's teacher that I have to work with them at home because they don't have enough time in school to cover all the material. How about we actually work a 8 hour day for once and not take what seems like a day off every other week. LOL

Thank you so, so much. You have no idea what this means to these young men and women. My grandson,…Read More Zachary, an Army Ranger, is currently serving his 2nd tour in Afghanistan. His Dad, Patrick, attended MESMS in 1973-1974. He was so thrilled when I told him of your efforts. I have lived in Yorktown since 1966 and couldn't imagine living in a more wonderful place. Again, thank you so much. Hope my grandson is able to partake of some of your thoughtfulness and hope he realizes from whence it has come. Mary Tully
