It is nice to see our town board members supporting local groups. I constantly see CouncilmanRead More Murphy and Supervisor Grace with their spouses supporting local charities. Nice to see a sense of community giving with these gentlemen.

I agree 100%. I was there as well last Sat. and brought my high school age daughter. Most of herRead More White Plains High School friends were there with their families. It was a great day for everyone.

Rob Astorino claims "Families don't go to Playland anymore." But when I was there on aRead More rainy cold opening day on Saturday, I was SURROUNDED by nothing but families - even HIS family was there. They all came out in the lousy weather to have a good time. Parents and kids and grandparents and every combo of aunt uncle cousin etc. you could imagine, all different colors, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, many different languages being spoken, everyone happy to see the place open again, getting along, smiling, having a good time. I think I was about the only person there who *wasn't* with kids. Families families families. But...don't you know...families don't go to Playland anymore? People love Playland. They want to see it brought back to life as a vibrant amusement park, not dismantled for a grassy field and indoor sports facility.

You must be the only person in Westchester that doesn't have wonderful feelings/memories aboutRead More Playland. It is so sad.

See... caught doing exactly what you accuse everyone else of. Making statements...without having anyRead More proof! Send me the link! What you fail to recognize is I could care less why she was there. I made my opinion based on the way I felt about her placing herself back around the same people, where all this started. She had a clean break if she desired, yet for whatever reason she chose to go back. You can't tell the families your sorry, you can't show "the important people" the people that you now say you want to be a part of, that you mean what you say when your actions show something else. So all that "What's the bottom line"? "In the meantime answer me this and that" ? who ever said I owed you any explanation. I think I have made myself very clear, and so have you! Common sense Tells us why people do things. Although we don't seem to have none in common...Done with that@!

What is the big deal about not paying your income tax. You can be elected Mayor of NYC like DavidRead More Dinkins or be the Secretary of the Treasury like Tim Geithner. Is the problem that Stephan Baldwin is a conservative.

Democrats are far worse. This is a rare, isolated example. How about the endless scandalsRead More involving dems/libs? just a few examples.... Anthony's Weiner, Barney's Frank, Bill Blue Dress Clinton, Fat Teddy Kenned, Dan Rostenkowski, Charlie Wrangle, Jesse Jacksons kid. The list is endless, just endless. Democratic party = Corruption and the pursuit of power for individual enrichment.
