The Hallock Mill House dates to the late 1700s/early 1800s and is the site of one of Yorktown’s original post offices. Richard Hallock, the postmaster, lived and worked at this house. The property of this house was a busy industrial area during the Revolutionary War.

The other houses include the C. White Homestead, which features a lovely
side hall colonial featuring period architectural molding, numerous fireplaces,
and a beehive oven. The B.N. Disbro house that was a 1850’s style farmhouse which features an expansive entranceway and grand staircase. The Enos Lee Homestead, which dates from the 1700’s and features a ‘borning room’, was the residence of one of Yorktown’s founding families. The fifth home is the Leverich/Shipman House, which dates back to the 1800’s. It is the only existing temple-style Greek revival house in Yorktown.
