Where Do Relay for Life Donations Go?

Let the countdown begin!

There are 24 days left until Relay for Life on Friday, June 13. This means there's plenty of time to start a team and fundraise. Remember, every dollar helps in the fight against cancer!

We often get asked where the money raised at Relay goes to. The answer may surprise you!
  • Research: The American Cancer Society is the top funding provider (excluding the government) for crucial cancer research. Research helps find causes & cures for cancer!
  • Hope Lodge: Hope Lodges provide patients who must travel away for treatment with a free place to for them and their cave givers to stay! This helps patients focus on getting better instead of adding an additional worry for lodging.
  • Road to Recovery: This program provides transportation for patients who are unable to get rides to treatment. Specially trained volunteer drivers are carefully placed with patients to help them get back and forth to life saving treatments.
  • Look Good Feel Better: A popular program that teaches women battling cancer beauty techniques to help them approve their appearance & self image during treatment. They'll learn make up techniques, nail care, skin care and learn more about hair loss related options!
  • Reach to Recovery: This program matches trained breast cancer survivors with people who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Volunteers offer support, understanding and hope!

Our local funding for Relay helps support our local programs in Westchester! So your money is helping fellow New Yorkers participate in these great programs!

Go ahead, feel inspired! Start a team or join a team today and help us reach our goal to raise as a town over $275,000!
