Somers Events: Thanksgiving Pumpkin Centerpiece, Holiday Wreath-Making Workshops

Lasdon Park, Arboretum and Veterans Memorial is a Westchester County Park that is located on Route 35 in Somers. There are several great events scheduled at the Park for the rest of the month of November. 

Adventures in Horticulture for Children Ages 3 – 6 

You and your child or grandchild can have fun exploring the world of horticulture through gardening activities, nature walks and special projects each week. Fee: $6 per child per session, which includes materials; pre-registration required at (914) 886-5108.

Pressed Flora Gift Cards Workshop 

Saturday, Nov. 16 – 10:30 a.m. – noon

Learn how to make beautiful gift cards and bookmarks using pressed flowers and leaves. Fee: $10  per person; pre-registration required at (914) 886-5108.

Holiday Wreath-Making Workshop 

Saturday, Nov. 23 – 9 – 11 a.m.

Create your own decorative wreath for the holidays in the Shop at Lasdon, all decorated for the holidays. Fee: $30; reservations required at (914) 864-7268 or www.lasdonpark.org.

Thanksgiving Pumpkin Centerpiece Workshop
