Yorktown Fall Festival & Street Fair

The 5th Annual Yorktown Fall Festival and Street Fair, sponsored by the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the town of Yorktown, will be held on Sunday, Oct. 13 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Yorktown. Thousands of people are expected to pack the streets for food, fun, shopping and entertainment.

Rockin' Railroad Concert in Yorktown

Fresh off their live performance on The TODAY Show, the Kidville Rockin' Railroad Band is making its way back to Northern Westchester to open the Kidz Corner Concert Series at the Yorktown Festival and Street Fair on Oct. 13 at 12 p.m. More details here.

8th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Ride in Mohegan Lake

Danny's Cycles is hosting its 8th Annual Ride on Sunday, Oct. 13. to raise awareness for breast cancer prevention, screening, treatment and to help fund a cure. The ride is fun and casual for people of all abilities. There will be prizes, goodie bags and refreshments. Danny's Cycles is located at 1922 East Main Street, Mohegan Lake. More details here.

Somers: The Craft of Card Making

The Somers Library is offering the class for adults. There will be two sessions – Saturday, Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Creating beautiful cards is both simple and fun. Learn the craft of card making, and reach out to friends and loved ones with your own homemade greeting cards. $5 per person material fee. You will leave with your own handmade cards (envelopes will be provided). Limited class size. Register for one session only. Sponsored by the Friends of the Somers Library.
