Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Corps Youth Group Receives Certificate of Achievement

Members of the Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Corps Youth group were recognized by town board members on Tuesday and were presented with a certificate of achievement.

Members of the Yorktown Volunteer Ambulance Corps Youth group were recognized by town board members on Tuesday and were presented with a certificate of achievement.

The group is comprised of high school students who live in Yorktown and volunteer with the , including at town events such as the Grange Fair and Relay for Life.

"The young male and female students are future health care provider and simply good hearted young leaders of tomorrow who want to serve their community," councilman Vishnu Patel said. "YVAC youth group members you make Yorktown proud."
