Susan Siegel Clarifies Two Different Blog formats
Susan Siegel now has two very different blogs.
One blog has now become two.
Using Patch's new blog set up, I've been able to separate the two types of blog postings I've been making over the past year and a half: Citizens for an Informed Yorktown meeting summaries and my own personal opinions about town issues.
Citizens for an Informed Yorktown
Most of my postings fall into this category and provide the highlights of Town Board and Planning Board meetings. Readers interested in learning more about specific agenda items are directed the the main Citizens for an Informed Yorktown web page, www.ciyinfo.org. Readers can follow a topic as far back as January, 2012. (Some summaries are also available for 2008-2009.)
The CIY summaries read like minutes and are designed to inform readers about what transpired at the meetings. The only opinions are those of Board members or other people who spoke at the meetings.
Susan Siegel's Personal Blog
As the title implies, this blog will contain my personal opinion.
In some instances, these postings will include a link to my personal web page, www.yorktownbettergovernment.org on which I discuss selected town issues in greater depth.
Special Note
All my previous postings, both CIY and personal opinions, will continue to show up on the CIY Blog as Patch has advised me that its system cannot separate my previous postings.
